Where do I enter my key or code?
Everything is redeemed in the app. Click the ScreenPost icon (a camera viewfinder) in your Mac’s menu bar and choose Redeem credits code… — or click Enter license key… at the bottom of the Unlock ScreenPost window. Paste your key (SP-, SPC-, or SPS-) and click Redeem. The Post to X window (⌃⇧P) also has a Redeem button in its footer.
Do my screenshots leave my Mac?
Capture, editing, auto-redaction, and OCR all happen on-device. An image leaves only when you choose Post, which sends it to X, or Share, which sends it to ScreenPost's link host. Your X tokens stay in macOS Keychain.
Why does publishing use units?
X charges apps per API post. ScreenPost uses the rates shown in Pricing to pass that cost through without marking it up or hiding it inside the app price.
What if X changes its API or pricing?
Capture, editing, Beautify, redaction, OCR, export, and History are independent of X. Publishing terms could change; if they do, we will communicate the change before charging anything different.
What happens after the trial?
The app pauses until you buy it for $29 or subscribe to Publish. Your captures stay on your Mac.
